 freakout

Now before you get all freaked out (yes, I’m an 80’s chick) about affiliate marketing and saying “I have no idea how to do that!”, just calm down for a second.

Affiliate marketers can make some really fantastic income.  All you need to do is find training (learn how) and products that you can earn nice commissions on.  There IS an easier way than being an ebay or Amazon affiliate.

I had no idea ‘HOW’ when I first started, but I learned so much and was able to generate income while I learned.

And ONCE you learn, you can scale up your income, so there is NO CAP on what you can earn….

Money Making Opportunity Scams

making money opportunityYou know, as I was considering how to write this post, I was thinking about the way people view money and what they value.  What kind of money making opportunity is worth looking at?

Well, if you are searching for a money making opportunity, I am going to assume that you would like to make as much money as possible.

There are those out there that will tell you that a good money making opportunity is something like pet-sitting, metal detecting or buying and selling used things… and they put the word ‘legitimate’ along with it.  Seriously?  If you are looking for sporadic income or not much income, then I guess this would be appealing, but if you are looking for a lucrative money making opportunity – these types of things to me are a scam.

In fact, people use the word ‘legitimate’ to market to you.

The real deal is that it is just because someone labels an opportunity as legitimate, does not mean that you will make money.

In fact, there are many opportunities out there that you can make money with, whether people call them legit or scams.

I know people that call Network Marketing Opportunities scams.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Find a great Network Marketing Company and DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO DO and you can be very successful.

Why are people tricked into believing that a 9-5 job,or a job where you are paid by the task or the hour is the only legitimate money making opportunity?  I’ll tell you why…..  FEAR.  Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of success even.

What is a Scam?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediascam

A scam or confidence trick is an attempt to defraud a person or group by gaining their confidence.

My question to you is :  What kind of money making opportunity are you looking for?  Good paying jobs are hard to find.  In my honest opinion, it is a scam to think that you can go to work for a company, pour yourself into it, then turn around and get fired after lots of time and sacrifice because you are too old and costing the company money.

This is harsh, but it’s reality.  Companies get rid of older employees because they don’t want to pay more in health care premiums, they don’t want to pay pension benefits, and younger employees are cheaper on the payroll.

Not only this, but you will most likely be limited in the amount of income you can make.

Are you looking for something that can grow with you?  Is it possible to earn more when you learn more?

Don’t let fear stop you.

Do you just want to make money or do you truly want to be prosperous?  This is a money making opportunity for those who want to build a business for themselves and make great money doing it.

What is the Average Retirement Age: Will You be Ready?

average retirement agePlanning for Retirement?  Let’s look at the current average retirement age and the age at which people think they will be able to retire (if they are still currently working)…..

A recent Gallup poll conducted in April 2013 shows that the average age that people SAY they actually retire is 61, up 4 years from 57 for most of the 1990’s.

Of those that are currently STILL working, most say they will be working until or after age 65.  Here are the poll results of non-retired Americans…  37% say they will retire after 65, 26% at age 65, and 26% before age 65.

But here’s something that’s really interesting…. or alarming….  as people get older, their expected average retirement age increases.

expected retirement age

Turns out that Americans have anxiety later in life and their biggest financial concern is funding their retirement.  According to Gallup, a whopping 61% say they are worried about having enough money for it. Thus, postponing retirement could help Americans save enough money to live comfortably.

With this climate, people are notably preoccupied with how to save money for retirement, especially as they age.  How much do you need?  Check it here.

Where do you fit in scheme of things?  Do you need another income source?  What about the DREAM of retiring early  – is that something you would like to pursue?

These questions can be very sobering, but they can also be empowering.  Knowing the facts, at least, gives you your bearings.  If the picture doesn’t look the way you want it to, then let it call you to action to change it.

What do you want your Retirement Age to be?

fastest way to get rich

More and more people are turning to adding part-time income streams and online businesses options to aid them in reaching their goals.

But with the unemployment rate stagnating between 7.5 – 8%, competition for part-time work is high.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, the number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes referred to as involuntary part-time workers) increased by 278,000 to 7.9 million.  These individuals were working part time because their hours had been cut back or because they were unable to find a full-time job.

What about part-time business opportunities? There are actually many home based business opportunities that help people bridge the gap.  There are 38 million Home Based Businesses in the USA right now.  But how do you choose which one is right for you?

It depends on how much time you have and where you want to do your work.  Many at-home opportunities require most of your time to be out of the home, building your business and networking person-to-person.

Typical online opportunities require detailed knowledge in order to be successful, but there are a few opportunities available that are easy for beginners to get started.  The one I  recommend to people I consult with is one that I have had great personal success with.

You do not need to be tech savvy and have detailed knowledge of the internet to get started.  Most of the top income earners with this business DID NOT have that when they started.

You DO need to be willing to LEARN and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.  If you can do this, I have an easy-to-follow system that can help you bridge the gap and create a modest income or a full-time income, depending on what you want to do with it.

If you are interested in lowering your expected average retirement age or looking to increase the amount of funds you will have available when you retire, then follow the link provided below, enter your best email address and watch the video and read the information provided.

Let me assist you in bridging the gap.

Is College Worth It : A Worthwhile Question for Parents and Grads

is college worth itTo go to college or not?  Is college worth it?  That is a worthwhile question today.  With college tuition prices soaring and student loan debt crushing down, this is a totally worthwhile question for today’s parents and their kids to look into an research.

If you’re a parent reading this, you know you’re always thinking about how much you can save to pay for your child’s education.  The reality is, that in this economy, most middle class parents cannot save much and what they do save will not pay for a 4 year degree.

Is it worth it to advise our children to take out loans to make up the difference?  This is a FINANCIAL investment, and as such, you should educate yourself and your kids. I am a big believer in education. But what type of education to pursue? Here’s an interesting clip.

Now, this clip bring up some interesting points.  You need to research the degree that is being sought.  What are the wage rates and employment rates for that particular degree?  Not only that….  you need to look at the school and it’s statistics on percentage of grads that are employed after graduation.

There is a really cool tool that show you how long will take to pay off a specific degree from a particular university.  Check it out at http://www.collegeriskreport.com/.  Now just know that no tool is perfect, and these guys show you how they do their calculations and what the assumptions are.  I think it a great starting point for analysis sake.

Here, I took a look at the University of Georgia with a 4 year degree in Health Sciences.  It shows that it would take about 3 years to pay off AND pay less over your lifetime.  Note:  the calculation assumes that 100% of your salary will be used to pay off the debt.  So, realistically it will take longer.

If you look at an Engineering Degree from the same school, it makes sense to get the four year degree.

And we’re back to the question.  Is College Worth It?  As you can see, it depends on the degree you’re looking to pursue and the school you’re attending.  In addition to a conventional college education, I would also encourage you to research entrepreneurial education as a tool to help you earn additional income.

I can tell you that I do have an advanced degree in engineering.  I even moved up to management to make a pretty nice income.  But I worked a lot of hours…  and traveled.

Before my husband and I started having children, I had already decided that I didn’t want to be working like that and never be able to spend any time with them.

So I started researching ways that I could go into business for myself.  Now owning your own brick and mortar business is a ton of work, and while it can be very lucrative, it would definitely require that same amount of work, if not more, than the career I had before.

My research led me to Network Marketing Business Models, which show people how to leverage their time to create an income.  I started up a business online.  A lucrative business.  And the income potential is far beyond that of my previous j.o.b., with a lot less hours.

Do I advise people do this instead of college?  Not at all.  A college education is important for many different reasons.  And the pursuit of an education that will enrich and benefit your life is extremely important.  However, expanding your education to include other non-traditional means of building a business and creating passive income streams with leveraged business models is SMART.

If you are wondering how you are going to pay for your child’s college, or want to look into additional ways for your child to earn an additional income and build their OWN business, you deserve to see THIS.  I help people build their own businesses and residual income every day.

By the way, this is so powerful, that a 12 year old is profitable with it….
